How did you meet: The Singles Ward at Weber State. I had gotten out of a bad relationship where I was told that I was inferior for not having friends or hobbies. So when I began attending a Singles ward, I decided to start up a hiking group with my new friends. We would meet at my apartment at 9pm and just head up into the mountains. I was surprised at how many people would show up at that hour of the night and crowd into my living room. It was so much fun. We always made smoothies at my apartment afterwards and talked with each other until sometimes 2am. Chad came every time. At first he didn't talk to me, but towards the end of the summer, we got to know each other well and started dating.

Who eats more: Depends upon what we're eating.

Who said I love you first: I said "I think I love you." Then two months later, Chad wrote me a letter with my Christmas present and (finally) told me he loved me.

Who is taller: Chad is 6 feet 4 inches tall. 'Nough said.

Who sings better: I do. Sorry Chad.

Who is Smarter: Chad and I try to do the New York Times crossword puzzles and he guesses more words faster.

Who does the Laundry: I usually do, except when I had constant morning sickness.

Who does the dishes: See above. But I'm the only one allowed to load the dishwasher because I'm the best. It's like an exciting Tetris game for me.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed: Chad does now that I have to get up four times a night to use the bathroom, and because it’s not the side where baby Maura’s bassinet will be placed.

Who pays the bills: I used to, but now Chad has 99 percent of our bills set up to be paid online so he takes care of them.

Who cooks dinner: We both do, usually after Church on Sundays. I still eat a lot of cereal and bland foods the rest of the week.

Who drives when you are together: For some reason, we’ve fallen into a pattern and it's usually Chad that drives now. I break the speed limit but I feel that Chad doesn't brake soon enough, so we get on each other's nerves sometimes.

Who is more stubborn: I am.

Who kissed who first: Chad kissed me first. Come on, I was trying to be a "Rules" girl.

Who proposed: Chad.

Who is more sensitive: I am, although he surprises me sometimes.

Who has more siblings: We both come from three-kid families.

Who wears the pants: I think we each wear a leg. My leg might be boot cut, but his has a long inseam.

I tag: All my friends who need ideas for their next blog post.

Ahhh...I loved reading about how the two of you met! Cute story. I also love how you're like..."I was trying to be a 'rules' girl" -- that's awesome! Looks like it worked! ;)
