Last Sunday, the Primary children sang during sacrament meeting in honor of Mother's Day. The Primary Presidency specifically invited the male teachers to the stand as well. Chad was the only male teacher who obediently complied.
The kids were to sing "Love is Spoken Here," so the formation was boys on one side and girls on the other. One little four-year-old boy hadn't walked up to the stand quickly enough to get a seat, so he started to cry. He probably felt left out or that he was in the wrong for not having a chair to be seated in. Chad spent the entire first two verses of the song bent over, trying to soothe and comfort him.
That was the best Mother's Day gift I could ever get.
