Back to Utah

Wowee! We moved to Utah this past weekend to be closer to the U of U hospital. We did it all in two days because we had lots of help. On Friday, my angel mother drove me to Idaho so I had an extra half day to pack things up and get somewhat organized before D-day. My brother (I won't call him angelic, I don't think he'd appreciate it) came the next day to help and to drive my car back to Utah. Mom, Matt and I had fun Saturday evening when Matt showed up hilarious videos of The Colbert Report on his laptop. We just sort of stopped the move-out cleaning and relaxed and laughed our heads off. It was nice to be together and take a break.

For now we're living at Hotel Inlaws. It's nice to be near family again and have some familial support. It's nice to be in a familiar place. I even contacted my old boss, who is awesome, and may someday work for him again if I can swing motherhood and part time work. Even though it's an oxymoron, he's an honest attorney. I miss that job.

Now I've got to go through my boxes and repack them in a more organized fashion.

It's nice to be back.

Heather! Okay, I have to call you Bury, just this once..."Bury!!!" I hadn't checked my blog in a long time because I have a new one now with my new chapter in life. Glad that old bed rest chapter is over. I was so thrilled to see your post there! Oh my goodness! It has been so long. Then I read you blog and, oh my goodness, YOU have been through so much! You have a handsome husband and a beautiful baby girl, congratulations. I would love to hear more about how you met, what you both are doing now, and all that. But for now, my prayers are with you. What an aweful trial to endure. It sounds like you have a very supportive family and I am so glad for that. I have thought about you, and the other roomies, a lot over the years. I am excited that we finally got in touch and now can keep in touch. Isn't blogging great??? Take care and God bless! PS-Check out my new blog, it is our "family journal" of sorts with lots of pictures! tolmansix.blogspot.com
