And by the way

I caved today and started reading the first book of the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. Everyone raves about these books, so when in Rome...

I don't expect you to be checking this anytime soon...
I gave my friend, a "non-reader" the challenge to read the first 5 chapters, and the next day she came to me for the second book. Good luck--it has a tendancy to consume the lives of those who read it. It didn't consume mine like my friends, though. I think Stephenie Meyers put some kind of chemical in the pages.

♥ I heard people who LOVE it and some that really don't... and that the first 2 books are slow but the 3rd is the best??? Still haven't read them but need too! :)

They are good...maybe not the BEST thing I've ever read in my whole life, but I still liked them a lot.

I must be oblivious -- I didn't even realize you have a blog?!! How do you like these books? My sisters-in-law love them and told me to read them. I read the first two. Personally, I think they are absolutely ridiculous, but they seriously suck you in and who am I kidding, I will probably go ahead and read the third one AND see the movie when it comes out!!! ;) Hope you're well! When is this baby coming again?

I just finished reading this, and now I feel less of a man... Did she need 200 pages to describe how she felt about the guy? Honestly, I can't see any difference between this and any Venezuelan soap opera. But girls like it, I guess. I can't say my students didn't warn me.
