DIY home decor

Here is my paltry attempt at quilting.

Because I have the seamstress skills of a second grader, this pillow took me half a day to complete. My sister helped me out a ton. My mother is a wise woman and she says that the way to decorate a living room is to buy a neutral, classic sofa set and change up your pillows. That's what I hope to do someday when I have my own living room again.

I think it looks fabulous!!! And those first projects always take at LEAST half the day. I hope your new couches in your own living room comes sooner than later :0) And, that was too funny about the stock broker wearing a bra!!!

Way to go, Heather! I think it looks great! I hate to sew--probably because I never end up liking whatever I make--ha ha. I'm glad to hear that Chad is feeling better, but so sorry he's been pushed down farther on the waiting list! What a bummer for you guys. That must be so hard.

Yes, I was the keymaster...there is no Dana, only Zuul. And Pete was Dr. Peter Venkman. It was fun and yes, ghostbusters is the best.
Classic!

I too, am quite impressed with your mad sewin skills...sewing ranks right up there with ninja stuff when it comes to "skills." I was about to email you to see how Chad was doing...wish I could insert a pair of those thespian masks here---
Cause I guess it's a sad/happy thing, but at least you can enjoy life a bit eh?
BTW- Yes, that was an "cursed" St. Lukes onesie...why are they so cursed? It was the only hospital (I was told) that I could deliver "VBAC" -- Hospitals are gettin picky about that stuff. Ergo: We drove to downtown every Dr. appt and for the grand delivery.

I love your pillow and I'm very impressed. I'm so glad you came to the DiaDeLosMuertos fiesta. You guys are super great. Apparently you recommended a movie to Zachary with Medusa in it, but he can't remember the title. Let me know. love, jenni
